Water Gauges and Transmitters
Precision Monitoring for Water Treatment and Process Systems
AllWater Technologies supplies a wide range of water gauges and transmitters designed to deliver accurate, real-time data in industrial and commercial water systems. Built for durability and ease of integration, our instrumentation supports consistent performance, enhanced safety, and long-term system control across all types of water treatment applications.
From mechanical dial gauges to digital pressure transmitters and combination pressure-temperature sensors, our range meets the diverse needs of sectors including manufacturing, energy, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and wastewater management.
Why Pressure and Temperature Monitoring Matters
In water treatment systems, pressure and temperature are two of the most critical process variables. If pressure is too low, equipment such as pumps and filters may not operate efficiently. If it’s too high, pipework, membranes, or vessels can be damaged. Temperature fluctuations can also impact chemical dosing, disinfection processes, and water quality.
Using reliable industrial water sensors ensures:
- Early detection of pressure loss or surges
- Safer operation of pumps, filters, and membranes
- Real-time performance tracking and control
- Compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Reduced downtime and maintenance costs

We supply a full selection of pressure and temperature monitoring products suitable for use with raw water, treated water, process water, and wastewater systems.

Mechanical Pressure Gauges
Robust and cost-effective, mechanical water pressure gauges are widely used for routine monitoring. These dial-type gauges offer clear, instant readings without the need for power or signal transmission.
Options available:
- Bourdon tube pressure gauges
- Panel-mount or back-entry configurations
- Ranges from vacuum to 400 bar
- Stainless steel, brass, or plastic housings
- Glycerine-filled for vibration damping
Common applications:
- Booster pump systems
- Filter inlet/outlet pressure monitoring
- RO system pre- and post-membrane checks
- Softener backwash cycle tracking
Digital Pressure Transmitters
Where continuous monitoring or remote control is required, water pressure transmitters convert pressure readings into electrical signals (typically 4–20 mA) for PLC, BMS, or SCADA integration.
Key specifications:
- Pressure ranges from -1 to 1000 bar
- Accuracy up to ±0.1% of full scale
- Output: 4–20 mA, Modbus, or HART
- Wetted parts in stainless steel, Hastelloy, or PVDF
- Available with ATEX certification for hazardous zones
Used in:
- Automated chemical dosing systems
- Closed-loop control of pumps and valves
- Real-time monitoring of membrane pressure
- High-pressure RO and CIP systems
Combination Pressure-Temperature Sensors
To reduce installation points and simplify cabling, we also offer combination sensors that measure both pressure and temperature from a single device.
Benefits:
- One process connection for two variables
- Compact, space-saving design
- Digital or analogue signal output
- Suitable for closed vessels and pipelines
Applications include energy monitoring, condensate systems, and thermal disinfection processes where both variables must be recorded for validation.
Water Temperature Gauges
We provide both mechanical and digital water temperature gauges to suit different environments and accuracy requirements.
Mechanical options:
- Bi-metallic dial thermometers
- Capillary-type remote dial gauges
- Surface-mounted thermometers
- Stem lengths from 50mm to 200mm
Digital options:
- RTDs (Pt100) and thermocouples
- Inline or immersion temperature probes
- Output: 4–20 mA, Modbus RTU
- Temperature range: -50°C to +200°C
These are commonly installed on heat exchangers, hot water loops, RO systems, and effluent discharge lines.
Technical Features and Material Options
All our pressure and temperature instruments are selected for industrial use and built to withstand harsh operating conditions.
Typical specifications:
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +120°C (higher on request)
- Operating pressure: vacuum to 1000 bar
- Accuracy: ±0.5% to ±1.6% of full scale

Water System Support: Frequently Asked Questions
A pressure gauge displays pressure on a dial and requires manual reading. A pressure transmitter converts the pressure to an electronic signal for remote monitoring or control.
Diaphragm seals are useful when monitoring viscous, corrosive, or high-temperature liquids. They protect the sensor and extend service life.
Some transmitters are multi-purpose, but it depends on pressure range and media compatibility. We can help you choose the right unit for your application.
Yes. Digital sensors (RTDs, thermocouples) typically offer higher accuracy and better response times than bi-metallic mechanical types.
For most industrial water applications, we recommend calibration every 6–12 months, or in line with your quality management system.
