New Effluent Treatment Plant for Leading UK Polishing & Plating Site – February 2019

AllWater Technologies are delighted to be working alongside one of the leading players in the field of Polishing & Plating in the provision of a 5 m₃/hr Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to support their recent investment in additional plant to provide extra manufacturing capacity.

Working closely with the client at all stages of the system development, AWT were able to incorporate a number of existing plant items including sump pumps, filter press, turbidity meter and emergency holding tanks to ensure that budgets could be sensibly managed to realise best value.

Indeed significant improvements to controls and outfall monitoring have been realised through use of a PLC and HMI for overall plant control and monitoring, this meaning that any future changes to plant control or integration of additional plant items can be much more easily accommodated.

The staged installation is progressing well with great teamwork between site personnel and the AWT installation team ensuring a well co-ordinated approach and minimum disruption to the client’s ongoing manufacturing process.
