NEW AWT Short-cycle DI –  July 2017

Designed, manufactured and fully tested in-house prior to site delivery & commissioning the AWT Projects team have been busy once again – this time in the provision of a short-cycle counter-current DI Plant.

The plant, fully skid mounted to include all interconnection pipework and wiring and incorporating a full colour HMI, provides, as standard, regeneration on a volumetric basis but with this being overridden by conductivity and having the facility for manual initiation of the process if required.

The compact design also brings new levels of efficiency in chemical regenerant and water usage achieving a final quality of less than 2 microsiemens on an incoming supply in excess of 550 microsiemens.

To meet the urgent requirement of a valued AWT client the plant was designed to provide a maximum service flowrate 10m³/hour and was commissioned by the team some two weeks ahead of schedule!
