MCERTS Compliant Flow Measurement System – March 2017

Following a recent request for an unusually large open channel MCERTs compliant measurement system, our Project Engineer, Michael Corke rose spectacularly to the challenge.

The system was designed in accordance with ISO1438 to enable accurate flow measurement for a normal flow of 10-20 l/s (max flow of 30 l/s) and comprises a large reinforced V Notch Tank with stainless steel weir plate and suspended MCERTS accredited ultrasonic sensor with refrigerated sampler and data logging system.

With installation, commissioning and on-site training now complete the system is operating well and providing the client with a high level of monitoring and most importantly, is enabling them to meet specific site regulation.
