At last, a party to celebrate 10 years of AllWater Technologies Ltd – November 2021
AllWater Technologies Ltd (AWT) was officially 10 years old earlier this year but with Covid-19 restrictions in place there was no opportunity to host a celebratory party for the team and their partners at the time. However, we finally managed to host a party at Hilton’s DoubleTree Hotel, Cadbury House in Yatton earlier this month. Our team and their partners were invited to an evening of food, drink and roulette!
Founded by Derek Spriggs in 2011, and joined by former colleagues Sue Fisher and John Nicholson as fellow Directors the following year, the aim of AWT was to deliver total water treatment solutions to industries looking to achieve sustainable and compliant water management systems. Since landing their first major overseas project in August 2012, the types of projects the team are involved in have grown both in size and complexity and in their 10 years the team has completed over 250 projects in over 11 different countries!
On arrival, everyone was treated to an unique AWT ‘blue’ cocktail, the ingredients of which remain a mystery and following a three course dinner, everyone had the opportunity to try their hand at risk-free blackjack and roulette! The winner of the gaming was Rob Bishop, the husband of our Service Co-ordinator, Jeanette.
We also had a prize draw for food and drink hampers! Each hamper was full of products, all manufactured by our clients in the food and drink industry. There was beer, gin, tinned and baked products from some well-known and much-loved brands. Our winners were Andy Lomas, Service Engineer and John Towle, Sales Manager.
Following a speech by Managing Director, Derek Spriggs, the AWT team ‘turned the tables’ on the three directors and presented them with a surprise gift! The gift was a framed picture with testimonials from each and every member of the AWT team explaining what they liked about working at AWT.
During his speech, Derek thanked everyone who had made the evening such a success. Huge thanks went to Sue and Office Manager, Kim Hunter, who together meticulously planned the evening down to the last detail and of course to Kim’s daughter, Charley who was the creator of the beautiful 10 year anniversary cake. Derek also thanked the team at Cadbury House Hotel and the croupiers from Aces Fun Casinos in Weston-Super-Mare for looking after us all so well.
A really good time was had by all!
