A time for sharing – Christmas 2016

In the true tradition of Christmas, we are delighted to be gifting to two charities this year.

As nominated by our team, these worthy recipients are Jeramiah’s Journey and Mind. Please read on for more information about the valuable work they ceaselessly complete.

Jeremiah’s Journey

Jeremiah’s Journey is a charity providing support for grieving children, young people and their families from Plymouth and the surrounding area.

Support can often begin with something as simple as a conversation and for some this might offer enough reassurance or ideas to help. However where a family would like more assistance, specialist assistance is offered by the dedicated team.

This help has reached nearly 350 children and young people in the last year alone.

Mind

Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem but as we are perhaps regrettably, increasingly aware, hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.

Mind believe that no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone.

They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and vow to campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding; pledging that they will not give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they need.
